Werkstatt

Each week of re:publica Campus ends with a workshop day on which the digital programme will be extended by an analogue format: within the framework of a Corona-compliant hybrid event—for which you can register here—the discussions of the week are brought together and synergies are created between the participants and the main actors of the programme.

WERKSTATT weekly topic “Netzfest”

2 October 2020, 4pm-7:30pm
#rpCampus, Ziegrastraße 1, Berlin

With the theme "Vernetzt!" (networked!) the workshop day of Netzfest in Berlin-Neukölln will take place on 2 October on-site at #rpCampus. From 4pm to 7:30pm you are invited to join our programme and "get netzfest" with us.

“Frag doch mal Oma”
In the workshop "Frag doch mal Oma" you can have a conversation with the “Omas gegen Rechts”. The workshop will focus on the positive and negative effects of our digitalised everyday life, homeworking, digitalised school lessons, Facebook, fake news and bullying on the Internet.

“Social prototypes—for a better (working) world”
Martin A. Ciesielski's workshop "Netplay—Play the Net! A Social Prototyping Session" playfully explores how we really want to work together.

“How to Podcast”
In the workshop "How to Podcast" Frank Joung explains how to start your own podcast: You just need your cell phone and headphones. And one idea. You already have an idea? But it's not fully developed yet? How do you stand out from the crowd? How do you speak best so that it's funny to listen to? Berlin journalist and podcaster Frank Joung (HALBE KATOFFL, Grimme Online Award nominee) shows you the easy ways to record your own podcast, helps you to develop your idea and gives you tips on free tools to cut your recording and to put it online.

“Couch Potato Stop Motion Challenge”
Christian Söder and Julia Schneeweiss show you the results of their Couch Potato Stop Motion Challenge and animate live on location the next potato continuation story. They will also explain how to tell a story across countries by using the app-based stop-motion animation and how to make your own stop-motion film with a potato as the main character.

"Artificial intelligence against disinformation?"
Julia Bayer and Wilfried Runde will explain in the workshop "Artificial Intelligence against Disinformation" the current Deutsche Welle projects and the specially developed tools. Playfully you can learn how to verify digital content yourself and apply exclusive mock-up tests for the App KID ("Artificial Intelligence against Disinformation").
