Co-founder and Director

I'm a creative professional, a researcher, a facilitator and a consultant in the areas of social organizations, culture and arts, human rights, innovation, development and creative industries. In 2016 I co-founded Procomum Institute, where I'm currently the director of the programes and institutional development and a specialist consultant in projects of cultural cooperation, social and citizen innovation, public policy and culture and development. Between 2013 and 2016 I was deputy secretary of Creative Economy and Cultural Policy and Director of Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Ministry of Culture of Brazil. Graduated in Social Communication, I worked as a cultural journalist in a variety of brazilian media organizations such as Jornal da Tarde and Cultura e Mercado. With a MBA in Cultural Goods, Management, Economy and Heritage at Fundação Getulio Vargas I was part of the House of Digital Culture, where I coordinated the survey and interviews of the multimedia project Cultural Production in Brazil. I also held the communication coordinator function of CulturaDigital.Br Festival in Rio de Janeiro and Communication Assistant at PICNIC festival in Amsterdam. In 2013, I was selected for a scholarship from the german Alexander Rave Foundation and was part of the innovation team of the biggest german festival of art and technology, transmediale. Since 2013 I'm part of the Global Innovation Gathering Network, which brings together innovators and entrepreneurs from around the world, focusing on the global south, where I'm also part of the supervisory board. In 2017 I was selected as a global cultural leader by the European Union.
