Dr. Maike Weißpflug

Dr. Maike Weißpflug is a researcher and strategy officer at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, where she explores the transformations of the science system, especially in the fields of citizen science and open science. She also works on human-nature-relations and the Anthropocene debate, focusing on the changing public role of natural history museums. For the museum’s future plan, she coordinates the development of the science campus, especially the development of joint projects with the Humboldt University and other partners.
